Vote Coach Spoo Liberty Mutual National Coach Of The Year

Coach Bob Spoo has advanced to the final round of the 2009 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award, and we need you to help him surpass the other four Division IAA finalists!

The Panthers' longtime football coach embodies all four award criteria — Coaching Excellence, Sportsmanship and Integrity, Academic Excellence and Community Commitment.

If he wins, Liberty Mutual will award Coach Spoo $50,000 to donate to charity and a $20,000 grant for the EIU Alumni Association to enhance student scholarships and activities. Winners will be announced January 6, 2010, in Los Angeles, prior to the BCS Championship Game.

Fan votes constitute 20 percent of a coach’s final score. You may vote once per day through Dec. 29. Cast your vote today!
